Score: 7.4
The sophomore release from British-American singer-songwriter Lillie West is a continuation to her intimate, frustratingly lo-fi approach to a mix between grunge and bedroom pop. Here, she decides to dive even deeper onto her personal dramas and thoughts to create a record that feels closer lyrically but less risky in instrumentation (except for the beautiful closer track, that incorporates saxophone). The Lamb is numb but conscious, and obliterated but surviving.
