Just as its cover, Dulce Compañía (sweet company) is both sweet and charming, and a bit grotesque and amphibian. The tracks melt into reggaeton-waltz crossovers whereas the erratic unsyncopated beats create a sense of displace and dangerous euphoria, and the whole process confuses as it staggers, so much as it surprises (for better or worse) as it perversely blossoms.
