Revelations marks the so-called end of a dancey Shamir Bailey era to favour bedroom pop/rock and intimate singing-songwriting. But no matter how poignant he gets, everything that made him an interesting and entertaining artist is banished and obliterated here and thus, there's pretty much nothing as "revelatory" or important for us to come back in the future.
