Interpol - Marauder

The latest album from established post-punk revival band Interpol feels exhausted from the very beginning. It seems like, after a couple of albums and some pretty well-received attention, the New Yorkers have nothing interesting to say, and that is palpable in the forgettable, absent-minded and painfully generic tracks that fill in the record. Marauder is already old-fashioned, saturated and disorientingly boring.
