Score: 7.4
The most recent release from Spanish garage rock band Texxcoco feels raw, under-baked and almost innocent in its execution. Heavy drums, twisted guitar and bass plays and a quirky, monotonous voice make up for the kind of over-repetitive formula that runs through its exact 40 minutes. It's a nice addition to the genre, and a call for attention to anyone thinking that only Americans can do good indie rock.
