Score: 7.7
The debut album from LA instrumental trio The White Blinds excels at showcasing sweet, breezy, summery funk jazz, vibrating into 60s/70s groove with a modern/psychy twist. Most of the tracks are greatly executed and fully enjoyed. It's a warm welcome to an artistic statement and a band to surely pay attention to in the foreseeable future.
