How ironic yet real this record and its cover are: these guys are tender but at the same time savage and furious. The music feels exciting and in-the-moment. The vocal performance is cringe-worthily epic. But the messages these songs transmit are real, powerful, encouraging, a bit sarcastic and, above all, a call to arms. Even more ironic though is the fact that Why Love Now might be the cleverest feminist and existential album you can find nowadays.
