Just as Arca did this year, Baths finds in his voice a new source for channeling his emotions and intimate thoughts; things reserved to melodies and sounds in previous records. The results strike nonetheless, and while some songs work better than others, the overall feeling is of pure sentimental cascading, visceral physicality and a mourn for companionship.
