It's pretty comforting to know country music is evolving to newer generations in forms of neatly nostalgic-yet-confident songs as the ones presented on this album. The influences are clear, but Colter Wall blossoms on his own and faces the throne to one of the most important voices in today's genre, as well as one of the most interestingly mysterious artists coming out this year. A wisdom expected from someone at least 50 years older.
