The debut full-length album from Manchester-based post-punk band isn't reinventing the wheel, and maybe isn't trying to either. But, for the most part, it is one of the freshest, most accomplished and realised punk records of the last couple of years. It's raw, visceral and in-your-face without losing its sense of humour, humanity and even tenderness. Nihilistic Glamour Shots is a pretty solid statement for our modern times, and a good starting point for a band that's yet to much evolve.
