The debut full-length album from the multi-cultural British ensemble is an intrepid, woozy and heavily alluring journey into an imaginary country, where the blends between vintage cumbia, psychedelic tropicalia, tilted forro and dubbed electronic music make up for a juicy, intoxicating and utterly sensous world, plagued with imagery, symbols and a lot of fun. The talents emerge to bring the best of each other in a record that serves a kind of eco-tourism through the glossy island and the muddy vegetation; the question left to answer is... are the members of the band the animals themselves? Judging by their primal, cooperative performance, I think one can guess it...
