The re-recording and reworking of the band's sixth album studio from 2011 Twin Fantasy expands on everything they once did and ascends the tracks with their usual knack for twisted, antagonistic, anti-anthemic anthemic indie rock songs. Will Toledo shines and indulges in his wierd approach to storytelling and songwriting to move with this story about young queer love and existential crisis that made indie fans fell in love with the band seven years ago, and he does it again maintaining and even maximising the tension, the passion and the self-deprecating hope.
