The ninth album from the Canadian electronic producer and sound artist Tim Hecker is a fascinating journey through his mindset and peripheral thoughts on Japanese ancient culture. It's his irrefutable personal style what makes the traditional Eastern sounds blend so cohesively and smoothly with the harsh layers of drone and distorted strings in the songs. It's a record that breathes by itself, and it's giving birth to a formless creature we don't certainly know it's peaceful or doomed; anyhow, we love its creation, and how it sounds, and how it evolves, and how it comes to be.
