The latest full-length album from Canadian metal band KEN Mode might be their harshest and most powerfully brutal yet. It's plagued with exquisitely savage and perverse songs that rise in doom, drone, noise and exhilarating instrumentals, where the saxophones shines particularly. The members feel blood-thirsty and apocalyptic, and the tracks don't do anything but adding to the already profound madness and distopian euphoria. Loved is relentlessly dismal, and cathartically horrifying.
